SUEZ Water Technologies and Solutions (SWTS) understand that water is a scarce resource and we pride ourselves in tackling this problem head on, finding cutting edge solutions to allow our customers to recover and reuse industrial water.

Our Peterborough facility has two functional areas; an engineering facility that designs and builds mobile water treatment equipment / systems and a plant that regenerates ion exchange resin, working with cutting edge membrane technologies to provide mobile water treatment equipment for customers.

What will I be doing as a Project Engineer?

As a Project Engineer you will provide the important connection between multiple teams, from sales & commercial through to mobile project management and manufacturing plant, managing customer deliverables. • Lead outsource engineering, ensuring detail design and drawing completion
  • Pilot fleet engineering and maintenance activities

Additionally you will provide support on proposals and be responsible for material / equipment selection, sourcing suppliers and parts. There will be the opportunity for site visits, for as built surveys, and to share your knowledge through training and coaching Engineering interns and new starters.

What will you need and what can you gain?

Flexible and with great people skills, you won’t mind helping out with other tasks when we are busy and it’s an ‘all hands’ situation, but you will need a background in relevant water treatment systems along with:

  • An Engineering degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial or related subject
  • Detail design and drawing capability, ideally with AutoCAD and SolidWorks
  • Experience of document creation, review and approval (data sheet, P&ID, PFD, layouts etc.)

  • Additional beneficial experience includes:
  • SAP business tool: Material Master, Inventory, drawing and BOM
  • Electrical (PLC), SAP, AutoCAD and SolidWorks etc.

You will understand early on how much our customers matter to us and that our focus is to provide smart solutions and cost saving, with quality and on time delivery.
