What will I be doing as a Senior Technical Plant Engineer?

  • Facilitate projects aimed at boosting operational equipment effectiveness
  • Running projects at individual sites and group wide process improvement projects
  • Monitoring boiler chemistry across all sites to ensure compliance
  • Mentoring and managing graduate engineers through the company
  • Perform process hazard analysis
  • Control performance monitoring of EfW’s
  • Undertake predictive modelling for asset health monitoring

What are the requirements? (Experience and qualifications)

  • Qualified to a minimum HNC in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, you will require a strong background of process engineering within a process environment and be able to assess equipment at multiple site, understanding specific requirements and needs.
  • This willthen involve developing and running projects aimed at improving availability and efficiency across all our sites.
  • Experience of project management will be an advantage as the role will involve working at different facilities, throughout the UK, supporting various Engineering projects.  
  • As an engineer with SUEZ you will be encouraged to advance to Chartered Engineer or be working towards it already.
