As a Mobile Plant Operative at SUEZ recycling and recovery UK, you’ll be contributing to an ever growing established company that’s helping customers reduce their impact on the environment, conserve natural resources and reduce landfill.

About the role

This position is a Permanent Position

The core working hours are Monday – Friday 06:00 – 14:00 Saturday 06:00 – 16:00 Week 1 & 14:00 - 22.00 Week 2.

The pay rate for this role is £11.77 P/H

The location is Avonmouth MRF, Bristol Resource Recovery Park, Merebank Road, Avonmouth

BS11 8AQ

What will I be doing?

  • To operate mobile plant in accordance with the site requirements.
  • Responsible for the daily checks and routine maintenance of the mobile plant including cleanliness of the inside and outside of the piece of plant you will be operating
  • To operate the state of the art baling machine
  • To work within and to adopt all H+S and compliance procedures that are in force at all the company’s depots.
  • To keep the area you are working in clean and tidy and free from hazards, in line with our 5S lean objectives.
  • Any other duties as directed by Line Manager.

Any other duties that are reasonably requested within the scope of the job-role

What are the requirements?

We are looking for an enthusiastic team player, who will be expected to join the current site team to ensure site operations exceed the standards required. A flexible approach to work will be advantageous as you will be expected to cover holiday and sick days if required.

A safety conscious person with the desire to develop & embrace change to promote continuous improvement.

Experience in operation of mobile plant is essential for this role.

Previous experience within the waste industry or other high volume production processes is an advantage.
