As a Cleansing Operative at SUEZ recycling and recovery UK, you’ll be contributing to an ever growing and established company that’s helping customers reduce their impact on the environment, conserve natural resources and reduce landfill.

About the role

This position is a temporary position (minimum of 8 weeks). There may be opportunities for permanent positions at the end of the temporary period.

The working hours are 37.50hrs per week. Overtime opportunities are available.

The pay rate for this role is £9.77 per hour.

What will I be doing?

The role will involve mainly seasonal leaf fall clearance, and may include other aspects of street cleansing (i.e. litter picking, litterbin emptying, dumps & weed removal, etc.), as well as delivering a high standard of service, and ensuring compliance with Health and Safety rules at all times.

What are the requirements?

Applicants must be self-motivated, willing to work outdoors in all weather, able to communicate with the public, and eager to be part of a successful hardworking team delivering a high level of customer service.

Experience of working in the waste industry is desirable, though not essential.
