As a Senior Customer Support Officer at SUEZ recycling and recovery UK, you’ll be contributing to an ever growing established company that’s helping customers reduce their impact on the environment, conserve natural resources and reduce landfill.

What will I be doing?

  • To manage the Customer Support team to ensure the provision of an effective, efficient and compliant administrative service
  • To manage and monitor administrative efficiency in terms of staffing levels, achievement of deadlines, accuracy and speed of service delivery
  • To assist SDM/CRM and RBM in the preparation of Month-End accounts,  budgets and forecasts
  • To provide support and training where required to Customer Support officers at other Depots in the Region.
  • To ensure Depot Administrators operate established administrative processes and procedures are followed consistently and accurately.
  • Ensure that Policy & Procedures are adhered to throughout all aspects of Depot Administration.
  • To drive a culture of full compliance and H&S awareness amongst Administrative staff and be responsible for the Health & Safety of the employees within their control.
  • To liaise with RBM regarding their administration requirements and standards of service on a regular basis
  • Constantly review level of administrative resources at Depot level, and Regionally where requested, including staffing levels, structure, operating procedures and methodologies with a view to continuous improvement
  • To compile management statistics as required for CRM and RBM.
  • Any other duties that are reasonably requested within the scope of the job-role.

What are the requirements/qualifications?

  • Clearly, you need to be good with people and happy resolving queries and problems.
  • Supervisory experience is essential.
  • Experience of producing statistical reports to a high standard.
  • Experience of training support in a similar role.
  • It’s the sort of job that suits approachable, helpful people who can express themselves well. 
  • You also need to be professional and efficient – ready to deal with tasks swiftly and accurately.
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent).
  • Knowledge of the waste management industry would be fantastic but again, this is not obligatory.
