DETS/QTS Environmental Ltd. is a UK-based environmental chemical testing laboratory offering a standard five-day turnaround.

Our purely analytical laboratory provides a comprehensive range of environmental analytical testing services, from bespoke projects to more routine analytical requirements.

We are looking to recruit a Sales Manager to join our team and be responsible for generating and increasing sales.

What will I be doing?

  • Increasing sales and creating opportunities within a specified region.  Establishing and maintaining customer relations. 
  • Contributing to the overall company turnover. 
  • Delivery of key sales objectives.
  • Generate sales against annual sales target
  • Identify and exploit new sales opportunities with existing and potential customers.
  • Monitor customer accounts within the allocated sales area to ensure that sales potential is fully exploited.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication links with both customers and potential new customers including obtaining feedback.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication links with colleagues.
  • Maintain an awareness of company services and market opportunities to ensure sales role is carried out as effectively as possible.
  • Create quotes and pricelists for customers.
  • Attend exhibitions and represent the company on the stand when the company exhibits.
  • Maintain sales records in a Customer Relationship Management system.

What are the requirements?

  • Higher National Certificate or Degree in environmental science or equivalent.
  • Significant experience within sales and marketing, preferably within a commercial laboratory environment but industry knowledge is not essential Customer/Sales Focussed
  • Proven track record of increasing generating and sales within a business
