Experienced Financial Analyst?  You can help create a greener UK.

A greener, more environmentally-friendly UK is possible – and we’re making it happen. As a Senior Financial Analyst at SUEZ, recycling and recovery UK, you’ll be contributing to an ever growing established recycling and recovery company that’s helping customers reduce their impact on the environment, conserve natural resources and reduce landfill.

What will I be doing?

Reporting to the Divisional Financial Controller, the successful candidate will be the main interface between Finance and Operations.  Based at South West London (Morden/Charlton Lane/Maidenhead), the Senior Financial Analyst will support the Regional Director of Operations South East.

Key responsibilities of the role include identifying profit improvement opportunities in the region, reviewing investment opportunities, providing financial support for new tenders and working closely with the Regional Director in the formulation and implementation of regional business plans.

In addition to this the Senior Financial Analyst will be the key person responsible for controlling the preparation of budget/forecasts for the region.

What are the requirements?

The successful candidate will have demonstrable analytical experience within a manufacturing / production environment and a track record of business improvement through identification and implementation of KPIs.

It is essential that the applicant has exceptional communication skills and has the ability to influence, persuade and negotiate with senior managers, external contacts and other stakeholders.

Applicants must also be able to work on their own initiative, to strict deadlines and organise their own workload.

Experience of working within the waste industry is desirable but not essential as is a formal accounting qualification.
