SUEZ Water Technologies and Solutions is recruiting for a Warehouse Picker to pick orders in their busy warehouse in Daventry.

About the role

The role requires you to carry out general warehouse duties including picking and packing and loading lorries.

The role is a permanent position working from Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week with one hour for lunch unpaid and hours would vary.

What will I be doing?

The successful Warehouse Picker will have a clear understanding the dangers and risks of working with hazardous chemicals. Understand health & safety and the importance of PPE. They need to be fit and take clear direction. A warehouse picker will need a good eye for detail and be methodical in their approach with good organisational skills.

What are the requirements?

The following tasks are to be carried out

• Use a Computer for labels

• Learn our products

• Up to date on Health & safety

• Play an active part in stock control systems

• Communicate effectively

• Drive a reach/ counterbalance truck

• Learn relevant SOPs

• Keep up to date on new products

• Understand drum sizes and weights

• Understand container types for correct products

• Carry out cleaning duties

• To fully understand and implement spillage procedure

• Liaise with production

• Labelling

• Picking & wrapping chemicals for delivery
