As a Resale Supervisor at SUEZ recycling and recovery UK, you’ll be contributing to an ever growing established Recycling and Recovery Company that’s helping customers reduce their impact on the environment, conserve natural resources and reduce landfill.

What will I be doing as a Resale Supervisor?

Reporting to Senior Site Manager, the Reuse Sales Supervisor will be responsible for supervising the daily running of the REVIVE resale shop situated at Brighouse HWRC, ensuring the REVIVE standards are met in terms of product and service. The Reuse Sales Supervisor will be responsible for merchandising of stock and ensuring items sold are safe and compliant with legislation. The successful candidate will work closely with the other members of the Operations team to provide the best service and product ranges to our Client and customers.

Key responsibilities of the role include ensuring the shop is compliant and operates in line with policies and procedures, researching items to understand sales value, completing and submitting all necessary paperwork and building relationships with both suppliers and customers whilst giving sales advice to ensure repeat custom. Further responsibilities will include maintaining the security of the shop premises, stock and monies, ensuring the highest standards of housekeeping and the running of the shops EBay account for items of higher value and developing the shop to maximise its potential.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate a passion for resale and customer service coupled with communication skills. Working as part of a team the successful candidate needs to be sociable and ideally have worked in retail previously.

Experience of working in a second hand or charity shop would be advantageous but not essential.

Experience of working in a retail supervisory position is desirable.
