As a Data Analyst at SUEZ, recycling and recovery UK, you’ll be contributing to an ever growing established recycling and recovery company that’s helping customers reduce their impact on the environment, conserve natural resources and reduce landfill.

To provide the Procurement department with analytical capabilities to ensure Procurement has the necessary means to perform to business objectives and provide excellent customer service. The Data Analyst will be able to collect data and transform them into information which then will be used to make business decisions.

Support the Procurement Process & Systems Manager in improving system strategies.

Help ensure Procurement data and related analytical capabilities best support Category Management requirements.

Ensure timely completion of corporate reporting requirements and response to formal information requests.

Provide timely and proactive departmental reporting to stakeholders, including identification of trends and patterns in procurement spend information.

What are the Requirements/Qualifications?

The ideal candidate will be able to collect, analyse and interpret data and will be able to demonstrate following skills:

- IT skills; advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

- Analytical skills; ability to translate complex numbers, trends, and data into simple conclusions.

- Communication skills; ability to communicate data in a simple manner and ability to create understandable documents.

The successful candidate will be expected to learn & understand procurement processes and will receive training on Source to Contract, Procure to Pay and financial systems. Knowledge of reporting packages (Cognos BI, Power BI) is welcomed but not necessary as the candidate will be trained on basic concepts of BI and will be expected to learn and improve their report writing skills.
