Working in Partnership with Hesus in the UK, SUEZ are looking to recruit an experienced Commercial Operations Manager for the new UK operation.

Can you demonstrate experience of driving a business plan forward to achieve market growth within the Aggregates/Soil, Logistics/haulage or Organics Market?

If so this could be a fantastic opportunity for you to demonstrate your commercial leadership acumen.

About the role

We are looking for a Country Manager/Commercial Operations Manager to accelerate and consolidate the development of the UK Business.

To do so, in a first hands-on delivery phase, you will be in charge of the:

● Commercial development

 Follow and develop our client portfolio,

 Build partnerships with other organisations

● Operations

 Organise day-to-day operation of the company

● Financial and legal supervision

 Assure the company’s fiscal activity, including budgeting, reporting, and auditing

 Assure all legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations

● Marketing

 Develop the image of the brand (contests, communication…)

● Market monitoring

 Attend conferences, meetings, industry events…

● Strategic development

 Identify and address problems and opportunities

 Work with the executive board to determine values and mission, and plan for short and long term goals

And as we go along with the development, you will shape and manage the UK team:

● Team management

 Create a Hesus environment that promotes great performance and positive morale

 Work closely with the human resource department to ensure great hiring

What will I be doing?

Hesus is the Greentech partner of constructions sites, specialised in the evacuation & recovery of excavated material & construction waste and in the supply of soils & materials arising from these resources.

Our core businesses are innovation, digitalisation and interconnection, serving circular economy and the environment.

Hesus is an adventure made of opportunities and developments. We maintain our young company spirit and dynamic to develop our services, articulated around the trading of:

● The evacuation, treatment and recovery of contaminated and inert soils;

● The supply of recycled materials.

We are looking for an experienced manager to manage the day-to-day operations and development of our UK branch.

Our future team member must be ready to build further and adapt the Hesus model to the UK, provide inspired leadership, establish a great working relationship with the board and set a course for company strategy.

 

 

What are the requirements?

The right candidate must have a great understanding of the soil trading market in the UK. Ideally, with a background in “muck away” haulage, earthworks or soil management.

 Degree in a relevant discipline or MBA ;

 5 to 10 years’ experience in the haulage industry or soil or construction ;

 Proven leadership ;

 Autonomy, proactivity and capability to handle uncertainty ;

 Proven negotiation skills ;

 Ability to understand new issues quickly and make wise decisions ;

 Ability to work under pressure, plan personal workload effectively
