As a Mobile Plant Operative at SUEZ recycling and recovery UK, you’ll be contributing to an ever growing established company that’s helping customers reduce their impact on the environment, conserve natural resources and reduce landfill.

About the role

The Role

This position is a permanent, full time position.

The working hours are 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday.

The pay rate for this role is £12.50.


What will I be doing?

What will I be doing as a Mobile Plant Operative?

You will be working within a team to ensure the efficient operation of RDF processing facility.

Duties would include material quality inspections, litter picking, cleaning of fixed and mobile plant, operating mobile plant (Loading Shovel & 360 Swing Shovel and Teletruck), daily maintenance checks and material checks for contamination, in full compliance with company procedures and systems of work. The role includes; loading vehicles, cleaning machinery to a high standard, maintaining 5S Lean systems, operating and assisting the other members of the team.

The ideal candidate would possess current plant operator’s certificates for a Loading Shovel, 360 and Teletruck, preferably with previous but not essential experience of the waste and recycling industry.

Full training in all areas will be provided should the successful candidate not possess such experience or qualifications.

The successful person will work effectively within a team whilst also being self motivated and have the ability to work under their own initiative.

It is equally important that this person is flexible and reliable, and has the ability to learn new skills and put these into practice quickly.
