As an EfW Planning Engineer at SUEZ recycling and recovery UK, you’ll be contributing to an ever growing established company that’s helping customers reduce their impact on the environment, conserve natural resources and reduce landfill.

What will I be doing?

What will I be doing as a EfW Planning Engineer ?

Based in Wilton on Teesside and reporting to the EfW Planning Manager.

As part of the asset management team you will be responsible for effective planning, delivery, reporting and analysis of annual planned outages on the Wilton 11, Kirklees (Huddersfield) and Isle of Man Energy from Waste plants.

You will ensure plant availability and equipment reliability is maximised through implementation of the planned preventative maintenance programme for each site.

What are the requirements?
  • HNC or time served in Mechanical / Electrical or Process Engineering
  • Conversant with CMMS and Planning packages (MS Project)
  • Experience of working in process industry, preferably power generation
  • Experience in managing people
