You will work 39 hours per week Monday to Friday on one of the following shift patterns.


0700- 1530

1000- 1900

Our hourly rate for this role starts from £8.69 per hour.

What will I be doing?

What will I be doing?

The job entails driving a 7.5 tonne vehicle keeping the streets of Aylesbury District Council clear of litter, rubbish and fly tipping.. We also keep the Town Centres and car parks litter free and help with the putting up and taking down of the market stalls. At times you may be asked to fulfil other duties relating to cleansing operatives that are relevant under our contract with Aylesbury Vale District Council.

Some experience of Street Cleansing would be preferred but full training on the job will be given.

An LGV / HGV Class 2 license, as well as a CPC card are essential. A digital tachograph card is also required

Applicants must be able to demonstrate professional driving coupled with good communication skills and a willingness to be part of a successful hardworking team delivering a high level of customer service.
